Annual General Meeting of Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit

The Annual General Meeting of the Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit was held on 19th May 2017 at the AFHQ auditorium under the patronage of Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy. The AGM was attended by the Station Seva Vanitha Presidents and the Officers in Charge together with Coordinator of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit.
The event commenced with the singing of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Anthem followed by the welcome address by the Chairperson Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs.Anoma Jayampathy. This was followed by the reading of minutes of the previous AGM by the Secretary SVU Sqn Ldr Chamini Gamage. Treasurer SVU Squadron Leader Chamith Ilankoon read the accounts pertaining to the year 2016. Further a presentation was also conducted on the events carried out by the SLAF SVU during the year 2016 by the Secretary of the SLAF SVU. This was followed by presentations of Stations on the SVU activities carried out at Station level during the year 2016.
