First Win in the Caltex Rugby League

Sri Lanka Air Force ruggerites scored their first victory in the Caltex Rugby League today (08 May 2010) at SLAF Base Ratmalana by beating the Havelocks.
Air Force entered the game aggressively and dominating the game up to the long whistle. Air force scored 20 points with 03 tries, 01 conversion and 01 penalty against Havelock's 03 points.
AF center Charith scored one try and put over a penalty in the 1st half and whilst Havelocks scored 03 points through one penalty. In the second half ‘wing three quarter’ Kodagoda and ‘fly half’ Dinesh Chandimal scored one try each whilst Charith converted one of the tries to make sure that the Airmen won the game 20-03.
The acting Chief of Defence Staff and the Commander of the Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Roshan Goonetileke was at hand to witness the first victory for this season.
