Inter Unit Power Lifting Championship 2017
SLAF Trade Training School (TTS) Ekala and SLAF Base Katunayake Regiment Wing emerged the men’s joint champions while SLAF TTS Ekala emerged women's champions at the Inter Unit Power Lifting Championship 2017 which was concluded on 24 May 2017 at SLAF TTS Ekala.
SLAF Base Ratmalana Tech Formation and SLAF Station Colombo became the men’s and women's runner up.
Leading Aircraftman Wijethilake and Aircraftwoman Perera of TTS Ekala were adjudged the best lifters in their categories.
Director Ground Operations of SLAF Air Vice Marshal KFR Fernando graced the occasion as the chief guest. Chairman SLAF Power Lifting Air Commodore Janaka Amarasinghe, Officers and Other ranks were also present at the occasion.
