The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy, declared open the newly constructed "Eagle's Hideout" at Eagle's Lagoon View Banquet and Convention Hall, SLAF Base Katunayake  this morning (31 May 2017).

The construction was carried out by Directorate of Civil Engineering of SLAF. This project was initiated by Commander of the Air Force and his close supervision and guidance was highlighted during the course of action.

The Chief of Staff of SLAF Air Vice Marshal DLS Dias, Members of the Air Force Board of Management, Base Commander of SLAF Base Katunayake Air Commodore MDAP Payoe, officers and other ranks were also present at the opening.
