Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy declared open the newly constructed   Other Ranks  Holiday home complex at Senarathgama, Katugastota, Kandy today ( 01 June 2017). This holiday home complex comprises  three luxury cottages with a common dining facility.

The project was carried out by Civil Engineering Wing at SLAF Base Katunayake under the supervision of Directorate of Civil Engineering. The facility consists of three fully furnished separate luxury cottages with attached bathrooms, verandas, sitting areas, fully equipped kitchens with modern cooking apparatus, separate staff capable of catering to three families at a time.

Director Logistics of SLAF Air Vice Marshal HMSKB Kotakadeniya, Commanding Officer SLAF Station Sigiriya Group Captain LHN Jayatilake, Officers and other ranks were also present at the ceremony.
