The Passing out Parade of No.60 Intake Officer Cadets Basic Ground Combat Course, No.12 Intake Lady Officer Cadets Basic Ground Combat Course, No. 164 (A) and 164 (B)  Regular Airmen Recruit Course and No.34 Regular Airwomen Recruit Course was held at Sri Lanka Air Force Combat Training School Diyatalawa this morning (02th June 2017).

The Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy  graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy, members of the Air Force Board of Management, Commanding Officer SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa, Air Commodore WWPD Fernando, Senior Officers and a large number of invitees were also present at the occasion.

A total of 780 Cadet officers & recruits, composed of  18 Officers from the No 60th Intake of Officer Cadets and No 12th Lady Officer Cadets Intake along with 762 Airmen and Airwomen of the 164th Regular Airmen Recruit Course and No 34th Regular Airwomen  Recruit Course passed out from the SLAF CTS Diyatalawa.

The passing out parade was followed by a display performed by the SLAF Band, Drill display,  Gymnastic display and  Bayonet Assault display by the passed out trainees, which was witnessed by the parents of the trainees’ and well-wishers of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
