New Hospital for SLAF CTS Diyatalawa

Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy declared open the newly constructed three-storied Hospital at SLAF Combat Training School (CTS) Diyatalawa today ( 01 June 2017).

This marked the fulfilment of a long-felt requirement.  The newly constructed spacious hospital complex will house a Medical Unit, Dental Unit, Physiotherapy Unit, Medical Laboratory, X-Ray Unit, Pharmacy, Outdoor Patients department with spacious accommodation facilities for all inward patients under one shelter and is expected to fulfill all the requirements of the CTS.  It is expected to completely do away with the necessity of conveying service personnel to other government hospitals in order to obtain medical facilities.

Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy, members of the Air Force Board of Management, Commanding Officer SLAF CTS Diyatalawa Air Commodore WWPD Fernando, Officers and Other Ranks were also present at the occasion.

 

Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
