Replacement Groups Departs for UNMISS

The Replacement personnel for the annual changing of personnel at Sri Lanka Air Force Aviation Unit under the United Nations Mission in the Republic of South Sudan (UNMISS) departed the country.

The first group which comprised 56 personnel departed the country early hours on 27 June 2017.  The second group of 32 personnel departed the country on 30 June 2017 to South Sudan from Bandaranaike International Airport.

Commanding Officer General Engineering Wing (GEW) SLAF Base Katunayake Air Commodore Sujeewan Senaratne, Officers and family members of the leaving personnel were present at the departure lounge to see them off.
