Closing ceremony of the first Finishing School program in SLAF was held on 02 July 2017 at Helitours Training Center SLAF TTS Ekala.

Chairperson Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy graced the occasion as the chief guest and gave away the certificates and gifts to the program participants and the instructors.

19 participants of the program passed out which included daughters of service personnel and retired service personnel.

Acting Director Welfare Air Commodore PDA Mariestella, Commanding Officer SLAF TTS Ekala Group Captain Jude Perera,Officers and other ranks participated the event.

Next Finishing School program is scheduled to be held in September 2017 as a weekend program for six consecutive weekends. Daughters of serving and retired service personnel who have completed G.C.E O/L and G.C.E A/L can apply for the programme.
