Introducing of New Appointment to SLAF - Command Master Warrant Officer
Master Warrant Officer GGM Ranjith Kumara was appointed as the first ever Command Master Warrant Officer (CMWO) of the Sri Lanka Air Force by the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy at a parade held at AFHQ premises this morning (12 July 2017).
The person who is selected for the CMWO appointment, by virtue of the appointment will become the senior most Other Ranker in the SLAF.
The CMWO reports directly to the Commander of the Air Force and is vested with the overall responsibility on all aspects relating to the general administration and welfare of the other Ranks and non-executive civilian employees of the SLAF.
Chief of Staff of the SLAF Air Vice Marshal DLS Dias, Members of the Air Force Board of Management, Officers, Other ranks and civilians witnessed the occasion.
