With the view of bettering the quality of life of 01 Officer, 05 family members of Service personnel and 01 Serviceman who have been Disabled in Action (DIA), the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy has authorized financial grants through Seva Vanitha Fund to purchase 07 Wheel Chairs.

A donation ceremony was held on 12 July 2017 at the Seva Vanitha Unit, AFHQ Colombo under the patronage of the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy and Chairperson of SLAF SVU Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy.
