Annual Commander's Inspection at SLAF Base Anuradhapura
The Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy conducted the Annual Inspection at SLAF Base Anuradhapura on 04 August 2017.
The Commander reviewed the parade which was commanded by the Base Commander Air Commodore HN Abeysinghe.
Certificates of Commendation were awarded during the parade to 27127 Sergeant Hewarathne DP (Administrative Assistant SP I), Mr EA Jagath Suraweera (Labour) and Mr WAL Dissanayake (Labour) for the commendable service they rendered for the development of the Base.
During the course of the inspection Commander declared open the newly constructed Parade Square of the Base.
Concluding the inspection, the Commander addressed all ranks and the civilian personnel at the Base and commended the work of Officers and the Staff in maintaining the Base at a high standard and emphasized the need to contribute their best to the Air Force at all times.
