Community Project for Underprivileged Pre School Children at Ampara
A community project organized by SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was conducted at Ampara on 08 August 2017 with a view to assist underprivileged Pre-School children in the vicinity of SLAF Station Ampara.
This was organized under the patronage of the Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy on a request made by the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Ampara.
Arrangements were made to provide school bags, uniforms, toys and story books for 16 students of Gemunu Pre School, Abayapura. In addition, 1000 pairs of reading glasses were distributed among needy civilians.
Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy, Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, several members of SLAF SVU, Office bearers of SVU, Commanding Officer, SLAF Station Ampara and the Officers of SLAF Station Ampara participated in the function.
