Annual AOC'S Inspection at SLAF Station Palavi
The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy conducted the Annual Inspection at SLAF Station Palavi today (11 August 2017).
The Commanding Officer, Wing commander LDRP Gunawardana received the Commander and accorded a guard of honour .
Certificates of Commendation were awarded to 18335 Master Warrant Officer WAKS Chandana (Plumber), 015787 LAC Tharaka SRMR (Ops grd) and Mr KN Jagath (Labour) for the commendable service they rendered for the development of the Base.
Concluding the inspection, the Commander addressed all ranks and the civilian staff at the Station and commended the work of Officers and the Staff in maintaining the station at a high standard and emphasized the need to contribute their best to the Air Force at all times.
