Second Win in the Caltex Rugby League

SLAF Ruggerites scored their second consecutive victory in the Caltex Rugby League today (21 May 2010) at SLAF Base Ratmalana by beating CH & FC 11-10.

Air Force led 08-nil in the first half and Damith Perera and Chanaka Chandimal scored a try and a penalty respectively.

 Air Force Fly Half Chanaka Chandimal put over second penalty of the day to move the score up to 11 points. CH & FC scored one goal and one penalty.

The acting Chief of Defence Staff and the Commander of the Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Roshan Goonetileke was at hand to witness this exciting matchup.
