The Non Commissioned Officers’ Management School at SLAF Academy China Bay celebrated its 17th Anniversary on 01st September 2017 under the patronage of the Commandant, SLAF Academy, China Bay, Air Commodore HSS Thuyacontha and Commanding Officer of the Non Commissioned Officers’ Management School Wing Commander RADSJP Ranasinghe.

In order to mark this momentous occasion, a Shramadhana campaign was carried out to clean the Bodhirajarama temple and St Anthony’s church at China Bay on 27th August 2017, with the participation of all ranks. On 31st August 2017 a ‘Bodhi Pooja pinkama’ was also held at the Bodhirajaramaya Temple China Bay. Finally, the 17th Anniversary parade was conducted at the Parade Square followed by a Cricket Tournament at SLAF Academy China Bay on 01st September 2017.
