The Assistant to the Commander of Pacific Air Forces, Major General James Eifert, Defence Attaché U.S Embassy in Sri Lanka, Lieutenant Colonel Dougless Hess and Country Director of Pacific Air Forces, Major Mark Lesor visited the Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters on, 14 September 2017 to call on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy.

Concluding a fruitful discussion, official mementos were exchanged between the delegation and the Commander of the Air Force to mark the occasion.
