A new house constructed under the "Guwan Lak Sevana” Housing Project launched by Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit was handed over to 013256 Cpl Jayalath WGP (Ops Grd). The house warming ceremony was held under the patronage of the Commander, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy at Kawatayamuna, Matale on 20th September 2017.

This project was funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and construction was carried out by Civil Engineering Wing (CEW) and SLAF Stn Sigiriya. Overall project was completed under the supervision of the Directorate of Civil Engineering.

The Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy, Director Civil Engineer, Air Commodore Ruchira Samarasinghe, Commanding Officer SLAF Station Sigiriya Wing Commander Chinthaka Alwis, Officers, Other Ranks and representatives from SVU were also present at the ceremony.
