SLAF Combat Training School (CTS) Diyatalawa and SLAF Station Batticaloa emerged men's & women's Champions in the Inter Unit Archery Championship 2017 which was concluded on 20 September 2017 at SLAF Base Katunayake.

SLAF Station Batticaloa and Station Colombo became men's and women's runner up at the championship.

Director Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering  Air Vice Marshal JP Wanigatunge graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayake Air Vice Marshal MDAP Payoe, Chairman SLAF Archery Group Captain HU Wijeweera, Officers and other ranks witnessed the event.
