A Delegation from the Indian Army Higher Command Course Visits SLAF

A 16-member delegation of the Indian Army Higher Command Course - 2017 comprising senior Officers of Tri-Services from India who are currently on their Overseas Study Tour to Sri Lanka, paid a visit to the Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters on 25 September 2017.
The delegation was headed by Air Commodore Suresh Hollannavar. On their arrival to Air Force Headquarters, they were received by Wing Commander Asela Jayasekara, Senior staff Officer of the Directorate of Training. Later, Heads of the delegation Air Commodore Suresh Hollannavar, called on Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Sumangala Dias and symbolic mementos were exchanged among the delegation and the Sri Lanka Air Force to mark the event.
A presentation was conducted by Group Captain Thushara Weeraratne, the Staff Officer Air Operations - I of Directorate of Air Operation on ‘Operation and Recent Developments of Sri Lanka Air Force’. Subsequently, interactive Q&A session was held with the participation of Members from the AF board of Management.
