The Initial Membership badge investiture ceremony of the Air scout troop at SLAF Station Koggala was held at the station on 08th October 2017, for 125 newly enlisted Junior Air Scouts.

Commanding Officer SLAF Station Koggla Group Captain HTH Dharmadasa attended as the Chief Guest.

Galle District Scout Commissioner Col Annada De Alwis, Deputy District Scout Commissioner Gamini Zoysa represented the Galle District Scout Association.

Chief Group Scout Master Wing Commander JAPS Jayawardena, Group Scout Master (Colombo) Wing Commander LSR Pagoda, Group Scout Master (Koggala) Squadron Leader MGWR Menuwara and other Air Scout Masters of the Sri Lanka Air Force also attended the Scout Membership Badge Investiture Ceremony.
