No. 06 ADRS Celebrates 8th Anniversary

The No. 06 Air Defence Radar Squadron celebrated it's 8th anniversary on 15 October 2017 giving prominence to social, religious and sport activities.
No 06 ADRS was inaugurated on 15 October 2009 and possesses the pride of the immense contribution to the National Air Defence network.
Commemorating its 8th Anniversary, The Squadron donated a computer lab to the students of Dharmaraja Vidyalaya, Sardhapura,Trincomalee.
Parallel to this, a shramadana campaign was conducted at the Gramodhaya Health Centre Vellaimanal.
The formation day parade was held at the squadron premises and was reviewed by the Commanding Officer Wing Commander KC Serasinghe. Formation day celebration concluded with tree planting campaign and a soft ball cricket match organized among the squadron personnel.
Director Air Operations Air Vice Marshal SK Pathirana and Commandant SLAF Academy Chinabay Air Commodore HSS Thuyyacontha graced the occasion.
