Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal  Kapila Jayampathy declared open the newly constructed  Main Guard Room at SLAF Station Batticaloa  today (19 October 2017). This Main Guard Room has been constructed under a concept of the Commander of the Air Force.

The project was completed within a very short period by Air Field Construction Wing at SLAF Base Ratmalana under the supervision of Directorate of Civil Engineering.

Chief Provost Marshal Air Commodore VP Balasuriya, Commanding Officer SLAF Station Batticaloa Wing Commander VKASW Vithana, Officers and other ranks were also present at the ceremony.
