SLAF Stn Kgl Celebrates It’s 33rd Anniversary
SLAF Station Koggala celebrated its 33rd anniversary on 19th October 2017 giving prominence to social, religious and sports activities.
Commemorating it’s 33rd anniversary, a sharamadana campaign was conducted at the Sambhodi Orphanage at Galle. Cleaning materials were also distributed to the orphanage.
Parallel to this, a Pirith chanting and alms giving ceremony were held at the Station premises.
The formation day parade was held at the Station parade ground and was reviewed by the Commanding Officer Group Captain HTH Dharmadasa. The formation day celebration was concluded with a tree planting campaign and a soft ball cricket tournament organized among the Station personnel.
