The Sri Lanka Air Force Sports Council headed by its Chairman , Chief of  Defence Staff and Commander of the Air Force  Air Chief Marshal Roshan Goonetilleke appreciated its sports men and women who brought glory to the country winning Gold, Silver and Bronze at the SAF Games.

This felicitation ceremony was held at Air Force Head Quarters Auditorium on 31st May 2010. Five Gold medalists were promoted to the next rank whilst all medalists were awarded cash prizes.
