Annual AOC's Inspection of Station Piduruthalagala

The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy conducted the annual AOCs inspection at SLAF Station Piduruthalagala today (27 October 2017).
Commanding Officer Wing Commander MC Pieris received the Commander on his arrival and a Street Lining was accorded to the Commander of the Air Force.
During the course of the inspection, the Commander visited all areas of the Station and declared open the newly constructed "Westland Cottage" officers holiday home.
The Commander awarded commendations to 32115 Corporal Kumara RYID (Plumber) in recognition of his outstanding meritorious services towards the activities of the Station.
Concluding the inspection, the Commander of the Air Force addressed all the officers, Other Ranks and civilian personnel of the Station and praised them for the job well-done and encouraged them to achieve loftier heights in the future.
