39th Base Day Celebrations SLAF Base Vavuniya

Coinciding with the Base day celebrations, a Shramadana Campaign was conducted at ‘Sri ShailabimbaramayaViharaya, Vavuniya’ and ‘ParakumVidyalaya, Irratperiyakulama’ on 12thOctober 2017. A special Pooja at Base Hindu Kovil was commenced with the presence of all ranks of the Base. These events were followed by a Dental Clinic and a Medical Clinic at ‘ParakumVidyalaya, Irratperiyakulama’for children.

The 39th Base Day of SLAF Base Vavuniya was celebrated on 27th October 2017. To commemorate the event, community service projects, religious activities and recreational activities were organized under the guidance of the Base Commander together with all Officers, other ranks and the civilian staff.
