The 10th anniversary of the establishment of SLAF Station Palavi was celebrated on 01st November 2017 with Community Service Projects and recreational activities organized under the guidance of the Commanding Officer together with all Officers, other ranks and the civilian staff.

The Station Day celebrations commenced with the morning parade reviewed by the Commanding Officer Wing Commander LDRP Gunawardena.  A tree planting campaign and a soft ball Cricket tournament followed and the event concluded with an all ranks lunch.

Coinciding with the station day celebrations, a Shramadana Campaign was conducted at ‘Palavi Junction to camp premises on 25th October 2017. A special Blood Donation campaign was organized on 27th October 2017 at EOD Training School SLAF Station Palavi. It was conducted in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion Service with the presence of all ranks of the station.
