The 05th anniversary of the establishment of SLAF Regiment Training School (RTS) Vanni was celebrated on 05 November 2017 with Community Service Projects and recreational activities organized under the guidance of the Commanding Officer together with all Officers, Other ranks and the civilian staff.

The celebrations commenced with the morning parade reviewed by the Commanding Officer Air Commodore KKAK Kaluarachchi.   A soft ball Cricket tournament, Volleyball tournament and Football tournament was conducted followed by the all ranks lunch. The event concluded with an Entertainment night with the presence of all personnel at the Station.

Coinciding with the celebrations, a Shramadana Campaign and Alms giving ceremony was conducted at St.Theresa Orphanage – Pampaimadu on 03 November 2017. Further, a special Blood Donation campaign was organized on 31st October 2017 at the Station in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion Service and with the presence of all ranks of the RTS.
