Commander Attends the 17th Annual International Fighter Conference

The 17th Annual International Fighter Conference (IFC) is currently underway at the Mercure Hotel in Berlin Germany. The conference will be held from the 7th to the 9th of November 2017. This conference has gained a reputation as one of the world’s premier conferences for all elements of the fighter aircraft community. The conference has established itself amongst the world’s air forces and aerospace industries as an unbiased forum at which current and future issues, concepts and trends can be discussed and debated between aviators.

The Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy is attending the conference where critical topics including 4th and 5th generation integration, LVC training, armed reconnaissance or light attack, EW, weapons systems, information fusion, manned/unmanned teaming, cyber resilience and spectrum superiority will be discussed and debated. Delegations from countries such as the UK, USA, Germany, Italy, Romania, Switzerland, Kenya and Belgium are scheduled to attend the conference.
