The Regiment Wing at SLAF Base Katunayake and SLAF Trade Training School (TTS) Ekala emerged Men’s and Women’s Champions respectively at the Inter Unit Wushu Championship 2017 which was concluded on the 08th of November 2017 at the Indoor Stadium of SLAF Base Katunayake. SLAF TTS Ekala became Men's Runners Up whilst SLAF Station Colombo became Women's Runner Up at the Championship.

Director General Engineering of SLAF Air Vice Marshal Andrew Wijesuriya graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Chairman SLAF Wushu Air Commodore SCK Pallawela, Officers and other ranks were present to witness the occasion.
