The first training hand book in the Sinhala medium for Quality and Productivity, ‘STEPS TO DEVELOP QUALITY MANAGEMENT AND PRODUCTIVITY’  which was compiled by  Master Warrant Officer  DBA Ajantha Kumara USP (retired) was published as a new CQAI training publication on 09 November 2017 at Command Quality Assurance Inspectorate.
 
The Director Aeronautical Engineering Air Commodore MD Rathnayake was the Chief Guest at the launch. The Command Quality Assurance Officer Air Commodore TADR Senanayake delivered the keynote address at the occasion while Deputy DAE, CQAIs and the staff of the CQAI were present in the event.
