The 11th World Military Golf Championship 2017 Commences at Eagles’ Golf Links - China Bay

The Sri Lanka Air Force and Eagles’ Golf Links at China Bay hosted the 11th World Military Golf Championship 2017 for the first time. The opening ceremony commenced with the arrival of Chief of Defence Staff Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Commander of the Sri Lanka Army Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Vice Marshal Sumangala Dias, members of the Air Force Board of Management and senior officers from Tri Forces were present to witness this historical event.
Participating teams from USA, Netherlands, Bahrain, Canada, Estonia, France, Germany, Spain and Zimbabwe were present for the opening ceremony.
