SLAF Base Anuradhapura celebrated its 35th Anniversary on the 11th of November 2017 under the guidance of the Base Commander Air Commodore HN Abeysinghe, together with all Officers, Other Ranks and the Civilian Staff.

In celebration, a Pirith Chanting ceremony was organized mainly to commemorate all the fallen war heroes and to bless all service and civilian personnel.

Further, a special Blood donation campaign was also organized on the 08th of November 2017 at the Base Hospital with the presence of all ranks of SLAF Base Anuradhapura.
