The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy conducted the Annual Commander’s Inspection at Air Force Headquarters on 20 November 2017.

The Commander was welcomed by the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Colombo, Air Commodore GGWTK Gunawardana.  A Guard of Honour was accorded to the Commander at AFHQ, following which 5 Warrant Officers, 11 SNCOs, 06 JNCOs, 03 LACs and 2 Civilians received commendations from the Commander.

On conclusion of the inspection at Air Force Headquarters, The Commander departed to SLAF Guwanpura.  The inspection will be continued on 21 November 2017 at SLAF Station Colombo.
