The Women’s Wrestling team of Sri Lanka Air Force won the Championship at the Sri Lanka Novices National Wrestling Championship held at Torrington Indoor Stadium from the 17th to 19th of November 2017 with two Gold Medals and three Silver Medals whilst AC Perera CNM was adjudged as the Best Technical Wrestler.

Further, the Men Wrestlers bagged one Gold Medal and one Bronze Medal.
