Annual Religious Ceremony of No 09 Attack Helicopter Squadron and No 07 Helicopter Squadron
The annual religious ceremony was held from 17th Novembers 2017 to 19th November 2017 at SLAF Base Hingurakgoda to commemorate the fallen heroes of both No 07 Sqn and No 09 Sqn.
The Islamic religious ceremony was held at Hathamuna Jumma Mosque on the 17th November 2017.
A mass was held at Christ the King Church Hingurakgoda on 18th Novemebr 2017 with the participation of family members.
The All Night Pirith Chanting Ceremony followed by an alms giving to the Venerable Maha Sanga was held at No 09 Attack Helicopter Squadron on 18th and 19th November 2017 with the participation of the family members of deceased war heroes.
