SLAF Base Hingurakgoda celebrated its 39th Anniversary on the 23th of November 2017 under the leadership of the Base Commander Group Captain VB Edirisinghe together with All Officers, Other Ranks and the Civilian Staff.

In celebration, a special Blood Donation Campaign was organized on the 17th of November 2017 at the Base Lecture Hall with the presence of all ranks of SLAF Base Hingurakgoda.

The celebrations commenced with the Tree Planting Campaign and was followed by a Soft Ball Cricket Tournament. Further the Event concluded with an All Ranks Lunch.
