22nd Anniversary Celebration of No. 09 Attack Helicopter Squadron
No 09 Attack Helicopter Squadron at the SLAF Base Hingurakgoda celebrated its 22nd anniversary on the 22nd of November 2017.
The formation day commenced with the Working Parade held at the Squadron premises followed by a floral tribute at the MI-24 monument in commemoration of fallen heroes of both No 09 and No 07 Squadrons.
The Base Commander SLAF Base Hingurakgoda, Group Captain VB Edirisinghe graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Moreover, an Elle Tournament was organized by the Squadron followed by an all ranks lunch.
