Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa visits Temple of the Sacred Tooth

The Chief of the Air Staff of the Indian Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa, paid his obeisance to the sacred Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy on 13th of December 2017 together with other members of his delegation. On arrival the Air Chief was received by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Sigiriya Wing Commander DCDB Alwis. The Air Chief Marshal met with the Diyawdana Nilame of the Sri Dalada Maligawa and also visited the World International Buddhist Museum in Kandy.

Afterwards, the Air Chief Marshal along with his delegation visited the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawala. Thereafter the Air Chief departed Pinnawela on route to SLAF Academy China Bay.
