Awarding of Fighter Controller Badges

Four Operations Air Officers received their Fighter Controller (FC) badges from the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy today (20 December 2017) at Air Force Headquarters.

The Fighter Controllers received their badges on successfully completion of fighter control training in India. The Director Air Operations Air Vice Marshal Sudharshana Pathirana, Chief Air Traffic Control Officer Air Commodore Saman Pallawala also attended for the ceremony.

Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
