The newly constructed Swimming Pool was declared open by the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy this afternoon (30 December 2017) at SLAF Station Weerawila.The ceremony was followed with swimming medley event and synchronized swimming display by SLAF Aquatic Team.

Director Civil Engineering Air Commodore Ruchira Samarasinghe, Commanding Officer SLAF Station Weerawila Group Captain Asoka Warakanga, Officers and other ranks were also present at the occasion.
