Newly Appointed Australian Defence Attaché Calls on Commander

The newly appointed Defence Attaché of the Australian High Commission in Sri Lanka, Group Captain Sean Unwin paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy on 10th January 2018 at the Air Force Headquarters. The former Defence Attaché Captain Jason Sears was also present at the occasion.

The Commander and the new Defence Attaché engaged in a discussion on matters of mutual interest and the Commander wished him a very successful and rewarding tenure in Sri Lanka. Official plaques were exchanged between the two visitors and the Commander of the Air Force to mark the occasion.

Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
