A Leadership Programme for school children was conducted at the Kularathna Central College, Godakawela on 11th and 12th January 2018 under the patronage of the Sri Lanka Air Force. The Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy graced the opening ceremony as the Chief Guest.

The two days Leadership Programme was geared towards improving the self-confidence and leadership abilities of school children. 9 schools of Ratnapura District representing 400 students participated in this programme.

In parallel to this programme, the Commander donated school accessories for the children at Ambevila Sri Vajirawansha Maha Vidyalaya, Pallebadda.
