Air Force Boxers Excelled at 92nd National Boxing Championship - 2017

The 92nd National Boxing Championship-2017 organized by the Sri Lanka Boxing Federation was conducted from the 17th to 20th of January 2018 at the ROYAL-MAS Arena, Royal College, Colombo-07. More than 150 competitors representing Sri Lanka Boxing Federation affiliated clubs including SL Army, SL Navy, SL Air Force and SL Police contested for this championship. During this Championship - 2017 Sri Lanka Air Force boxers (men & women) secured 02 Gold, 04 Silver and 10 Bronze medals whilst the women’s team became the 1st runner up of the overall championship in the women’s category.
Former Chief of Defence Staff, General Jagath Jayasooriya graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
