The awarding ceremony of 49th National Carrom Championship 2017 organized by National Carrom Federation was held on 18th February 2018 at the National Carrom Federation premises, Kohuwala. More than 200 competitors representing more than 20 Sri Lanka Carrom Federation affiliated clubs including SL Army, SL Navy  and SLAF contested for this championship.

During this championship Sri Lanka Air Force secured 03 Gold Medals, 04 Silver Medals and 01 Browns Medal whilst Leading Aircraftwoman  Liyanage CL became the Champion of Grand Slam Women’s Event and Leading Aircraftwoman  Rahubaddha RKY became the Women’s Champion.
