Programme on Women’s Rights

The Command Legal Department and Womens' Wing combinelly organized a series of programmes on “Womens’ Rights” in order to educate serving women of the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) on rights of women. This second programme was conducted at Astra Hall, SLAF Base Katunayake on 27th February 2018 with the participation of more than 200 lady officers and airwomen from SLAF Base Katunayake, SLAF Bandaranayake International Airport , SLAF Trade Training School Ekala and SLAF Station Palavi.

The guest lecturers were Assistant Superintendent of Police, Ms. Bimshani Jasinghe Arachchi representing the Director, Women and Children’s Bureau of the Sri Lanka Police and Sub Inspector Priyanka Bandara from the same Department
