A Drugs Storage Building at Base Hospital Mirigama was constructed by the Works Section of SLAF Station Mirigama, under the instructions of Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy to commemorate the 67th anniversary of the Air Force.
 
The Handing over Ceremony of the building was held on 08th March 2018 at the Base Hospital premises. The Commanding Officer SLAF Station Mirigama Wing Commander Lasantha Dahanayake, Station Construction Crew, Medical Superintendent Dr. AHKA Amarasinghe and the hospital staff were presented for the event.
