The Completion of No 12 Air Defence System Operators (ADSO) Course at ADC&CC SLAF Station Mirigama

The closing ceremony of No 12 Air Defence System Operators (ADSO) Conversion Course was held on 12th March 2018 at the Air Defence Command and Control Centre SLAF Station Mirigama. The Deputy Overall Operations Commander Air Defence (Dy OOCAD) and Commanding Officer SLAF Station Mirigama Wing Commander LP Dahanayake graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The ceremony marked the end of the one month course attended by a total of 24 (Operations Air) airmen and all of them have been able to successfully complete the course with the overall average of 70%. 

The first place of No 12 ADSO Conversion course was achieved by Leading Aircraftman Fernando GB and he was honoured with the Prize of honour for excellence.     

Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
