The primary objective of conducting this course is to provide a sound academic and managerial knowledge, while sharpening leadership qualities within the Non Commissioned Officers of the Tri-Forces. The course ran through a well-formed Syllabus over a scheduled period of 11 weeks. Both courses were affiliated to the University of Rajarata and all Non Commissioned Officers who fulfilled the required criteria were awarded with a Certificate in Management. The No.02 English Medium and No. 73 Sinhala Medium Batches comprised of, 49 Senior Non Commissioned Officers, 35 Junior Non Commissioned Officers of the SLAF, 02 Junior Non Commissioned Officers of the SL Army and 02 Senior Non Commissioned Officers of the SL Navy. At the Ceremony 88 awardees received certificates to mark the successful completion of the courses.

Sergeant Uduwela UDC (Male Nurse) was adjudged the Best All-Rounder of No.02 English Medium Course, while Sergeant Sudarshana MHJ (Account Assistant Sp I) and Corporal Jayasena PGNP (Fire Fighter) were adjudged as the Best All- Round Senior and Junior Non Commissioned Officer respectively in the No.73 Sinhala Medium Course.
